Adult Basic Skills
Welcome!

Do you need a high school diploma or want to improve your basic skills for the workplace or personal use? You can improve your skills with experienced, highly-qualified instructors. Classes are free or reasonably priced.
The noncredit Adult Basic Skills Program at Howard Community College offers:
- reading, writing, and math classes at many levels;
- two diploma options: GED and External Diploma Program;
- preparation for the Howard Community College credit math placement test;
- a distance learning option;
- skill evaluation at registration and at the conclusion of classes.
