Howard Community College is closed for Memorial Day and no classes will be held on May 26, 2008.
General Information
A placement test is required when registering for most classes at the Hickory Ridge Building. You do not have to be a registered student to take the placement test. The testing and registration happen at the same time; come in at one of the times above. Testing and registration will take approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. HCC staff will evaluate your ability and help you register for the class that is right for you: YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED FOR MATERIALS OR TUITION.
No mail-in registration is accepted for Adult Basic Education (ABE), Basic Skills, GED, or the External Diploma Program (EDP). Any course with a section (index) number is available for mail-in registration. Students must come in personally during one of the registration times above. The tuition and materials fees must be paid with cash, check, or credit card at the time of registration.
Please note that Howard Community College's Continuing Education Refund Policy does not apply to Adult Basic Skills Enhancement classes. Information will be given at required registration sessions.
