The ELI offers a wide variety of classes each semester taught by experienced, expert teachers devoted to the individual needs of their students. In addition to classes which cover listening, speaking, writing and grammar from the beginning to advanced levels, the ELI also offers many specialized classes which would be difficult to find anywhere else, including:

TOEFL Preparation
GRE Preparation
English for Starting a Business
Medical Terminology
And many more...

Many of our classes also involve taking field trips to cultural and scenic attractions in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. These "class" field trips are in addition to the field trips open to all ELI students held throughout each semester.
