ESL Instructor

Biography

I have been at Howard Community College for over a year teaching intermediate level Listening and Speaking and Grammar. In my previous work and volunteer experience

I have taught adults how to read, tutored ESL students in reading and helped them prepare  for their high school performance tests. I have also worked in the business community  for 12 years as an analyst at a local utility company.  I graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Richmond, 1984. I spend much of my free time with my family (3children) and volunteering in the community . I really enjoy my teaching at HCC.
