Biography

I have been teaching a form of ESOL since I was 16 years old (I won't give that year!), I first taught in Sao Paulo, Brazil while attending the International High School there.

My degrees are in Physical Education/Recreation and Physical Therapy/Counseling but I have always continued teaching ESOL even while practicing in my other fields.

Before moving to Georgia 4 1/2 years ago, I worked at FIRN in Columbia directing the Volunteer and Volunteer English Tutoring program throughout the county and, at the same time, teaching English at HCC. While in Georgia, I continued teaching ESOL to private students, in a Community College, and at a private International Language School.

NOW I'M BACK IN MARYLAND, HURRAH, and I'm pleased to be back at HCC teaching our wonderful ESOL students once again!    

I'm married to "Bill the Banker," we have 5 pets and 19 foreign exchange student sons and daughters all over the world, we speak a variety of languages and we enjoy traveling whenever possible.
