Registration and Placement Testing
ESL Placement Testing & Regisration Information For 2008
A placement test is required for all classes. However, "Express placement" will be available to returning students from the previous semester. If a returning student has an HCC "advising sheet", no placement test is required. All new students will be given placement tests which are given during the times on the chart below at the Hickory Ridge Building on the Howard Community college campus. No appointment is necessary.
A $40 material fee is required for each free class and is due at the time of registration.
Bring to registration: payment for tuition fees and material fees in free classes__ cash/charge/check and an advising sheet from a previous instructor (returning students only will have this sheet).

**Late Registrations
If you are interested in full-time study, The English Language Institute offers a full-time certificate program during the day. Study 18 hours a week, receive special advising and support, and take part in many exciting activities. Call 410-772-4740 to get more information about this intensive program.
