Using English in the Community (Int II & Adv)
One of our most popular classes! Upper-level intermediate or advanced students will have a chance to speak with native speakers as they perform volunteer service in the community. Choices for volunteer service will come from reputable community organizations. In class, you and other students will reflect on your experiences, using English for reading, writing, listening and speaking activities. Outside speakers and videos will broaden your exposure to English. ***Hours outside of class required.*** Must be willing to commit to regular, weekly hours off-campus (minimum 3-4 hours/week).
