Beginning Swimming–Adult

Improving Stroke Techniques & Endurance
To enroll, you must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) using the front crawl stroke with rhythmic breathing. Stroke analysis to promote endurance is provided. Get help to update your technique. $134** (includes $40 in fees*)

Advanced Beginning Swim
This class provides a link from Beginning Swimming to Stroke Techniques. You will review beginner’s techniques, receive instruction in breast stroke, side stroke, back and crawl, review life-saving basics, as well as improve your endurance. To enroll, you must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) using a front crawl stroke in good form with rhythmic breathing. Water Aerobics
Enjoy vigorous water exercise to tone up your body. This class provides cardio and strength training including exercises for your abs. Water-appropriate weights will be used. Please register early due to limited space. $119** (includes $40 in fees*)

Water Jogging
Water Jogging is a non-impact aerobic, deep-water aquatic exercise course for all adults 16 and older. Water jogging is a total body workout, strengthening muscles especially in the back, legs, and arms. You should be comfortable in deep water in order to take this class. $129** (includes $40 in fees*)

Aqua Zumba

Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Movements of the Zumba dance rhythms are adapted to the water, with splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering often heard during the class. Water shoes will assist in controlling moves, overcome the water's turbulence and stabilize dance choreograph transitions. This is a fun, enjoyable workout for all fitness levels. Bring water shoes, bathing suit, towel and water bottle. Note that pool depth begins at a depth of 4'. Instructor: Claudia Salomon. $109** (includes $40 in fees*)
