The Home Buying Process From Start to Finish
Whether you are a first-time home buyer or someone who hasn’t purchased a home in quite a while, this course is jam-packed with valuable information that could save you time and money. Session one covers the purchase and selection of your home with information about selecting the right agent, buyer’s agents, short sales and foreclosures, types of loans, disclosure requirements, credit issues, home inspections, lead paint and environmental inspections, and the residential sales contract. The second session covers the settlement and closing the deal. Topics include: typical settlement fees, common deadlines in a contract, HOA recession clauses, contingencies, condo documents, flood insurance, ground rent, HUD-I settlement statement, home warranties, titles and title insurance, lease/rent backs, escrows, Powers of Attorney, breach of contract and post-settlement issues.
