Appraisal Fair: What's It Worth?
Whether it's an inheritance, a garage sale find, or a vintage purchase, everyone wants to know "What's it worth?" Join us for an in-depth look and at the how and why of the appraisal process as Auctioneer John Caplan Harris, owner of Caplan's Auction & Appraisal Co., will explain step-by-step what makes something valuable or not! Class members can bring in two personal items for this hands-on appraisal workshop. Items may include works of art, jewelry, silver, glassware, antiques and collectibles. In this informal setting Mr. Harris, armed with 30+ years experience, will assist class members to determine styles, materials and markings to discover their authenticity and ultimate value. Join us for what we know will be an informative and exciting morning. Class size is limited. $39** (fee based, no waivers)

Intermediate Bridge II: Play of the Hand ★NEW!★

Women who wear makeup everyday will learn new, flattering application tips in this class. Andi Bradshaw, an experienced cosmetologist, will demonstrate how to best use the makeup you currently employ and recommend additional products (not brands) and techniques that will enhance your look. Bridal and Special Occasion Makeup
You may often be invited to a wedding or a special event where you would like to appear a little different from your everyday look. This class will take your makeup to the next level. Bring your own makeup, and you will learn to achieve a soft, more polished natural appearance or a special glam look. Students will learn about skin care and will practice makeup techniques using their own beauty supplies. Special Education Law 101 ★NEW!★
This seminar will present an overview of the rights that children with disabilities enjoy under the IDEA. Topics will include, but are not limited to: the process by which students are identified as being eligible for special education; the special education and related services that eligible children are entitled to receive; the required components of a student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), as well as the necessary composition of the multi-disciplinary IEP team; the student's heightened rights in the disciplinary context; and the parents available legal remedies if they are dissatisfied with decisions made by the local school system. Instructor Ed Law is a practicing attorney with expertise in assisting families with special needs children. $39** (fee based, no waivers)
