Community Swim: Building Endurance
Are you considering a triathlon? Would you like to improve your endurance in the water? Or do you just want to hone your skills and technique? Join this class for both formal and informal instruction. To enroll, you must be able to swim the 25-yard length of the pool with a good crawl (freestyle) stroke. $110**

Improving Stroke Techniques & Endurance

Advanced Beginning Swim
This class provides a link from Beginning Swimming to Stroke Techniques. You will review beginners techniques, receive instruction in breast stroke, side stroke, back and crawl, review life-saving basics, as well as improve your endurance. You must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) using a front crawl stroke in good form with rhythmic breathing to enroll. Water Aerobics
Enjoy vigorous water exercise to tone up your body. This class provides cardio and strength training including exercises for your abs. Water-appropriate weights will be used. Please register early due to limited space. $94**

Water Jogging
Water Jogging is a non-impact aerobic, deep-water aquatic exercise course for all adults 16 and older. Water jogging is a total body workout, strengthening muscles especially in the back, legs, and arms. You should be comfortable in deep water in order to take this class. Since water jogging is one of our most popular courses, please register early and in person, by fax, or by phone registration. (Mail registration may take up to 2 weeks.) Please list and pay for each class you wish to attend. You may do so on one registration form. $94**

Independent Water Jogging
This class is for those who have taken Water Jogging and have the skills to continue the exercise on their own and at their own pace. A supervisor will be available to monitor the class with limited instruction. Class is limited to 15 students. $105**

Maryland Basic Boating
This course meets the state requirements for a Certificate of Boating Safety Education. Anyone born on or after July 1, 1972, must have this certificate to operate a pleasure boat in Maryland. Learn types of vessels, marine weather, emergency actions, personal watercraft, navigational aids, and maneuvering. Materials included. Ages 12 and older. Children under 16 must attend the course with a registered adult. $30
