In this course, participants will develop a foundational understanding of the real estate investment 
business. Participants will learn The Investment Formula, a process involving creative prospecting methods, real estate evaluation techniques, how to control real estate without buying, and how to put the techniques taught in class into action within 24 hours. Students who implement these methods will have the potential to earn a $100,000 first-year real estate investing income regardless of economic conditions. STEM-Focused Preschool Curriculum 45 Hours ★NEW!★

Do you need preschool child care teacher certification and would you like to focus on STEM curriculum planning (science, technology, engineering and math)? Would you like to take a series of short classes rather than one long course? Take these classes one at a time, in any order, or in sequence, and when you complete all of them you will have earned the curriculum half of 90 hours for preschool child care teachers. This is an alternative to Child Care Certification II: Curriculum. If you already have your certification, you may take any of the STEM classes as Continued Training instead.
• Preschool Curriculum Planning Essentials (9 hrs.)
• Planting the Seeds of STEM (6 hrs.)
• The S in STEM-Science (6 hrs.)
• The T in STEM-Technology (6 hrs.)
• The E in STEM-Engineering (6 hrs.)
• The M in STEM-Math (6 hrs.)

Preschool Curriculum Planning Essentials ★NEW!★
Gain an overview of the fundamental components of curriculum planning for preschool age children. Topics include developmentally appropriate practices, the learning environment, teacher strategies, activity planning and unit planning. This course may be combined with the six STEM classes to complete the curriculum half of 90 hours required by the MSDE for the child care teachers working with preschoolers or may be taken alone as Continued Training. You must attend all class hours and successfully complete all assignments to receive a certificate. Course materials provided in class. (This course duplicates some of the material covered in Child Care Certification II.) MSDE Core of Knowledge: 9 hours Curriculum. $75 (includes $50 in fees)

Turn Geek to Chic: Programming Basics for Women ★NEW!★
Do you have a creative mind and spark of technical aptitude? Come find out if computer science is a field that’s right for you! In this weekend workshop you will learn about computer programming in a comfortable, female-friendly environment. We’ll introduce you to the Python programming language, demonstrate the command line, and have you coding in just two days! There is a great need for women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and solid programming skills are at the center of every STEM project. The White House is committed to expanding STEM education and career opportunities for underrepresented groups, including women and girls, and the job marketplace shows that these technical skills are in extremely high demand. GeekChic Programming workshops and classes make it easy for women to get started in technology and obtain the skills and encouragement they need to explore innovative scientific solutions to real-world problems. Students must be 16 or older and are required to bring a laptop to class. There are some hands-on exercises. Must attend both days. $35 (fee based, no waivers).
