HCC offers training in installing premises cabling for: (1) individuals, through the open enrollment classes listed in our quarterly Schedule of Classes brochure, and (2) groups of employees at a company, customized to the company's needs.

Course Description:

Learn all you need to know about installing premises cabling systems, with course content from the company that makes the equipment!  Successful completion of this two-day training will qualify you to install premises cabling systems.  Learn all the terms, definitions, descriptions, and procedures, including detailed information about rough-in, twisted pairs, fiber optics, administration, and documentation.  You'll get plenty of hands-on practice.  At the end of the course there will be a review and an examination, giving you the chance to demonstrate your new knowledge and skills.

This training provides industry-standard content and instruction, and will therefore benefit users of ANY brand of premises cabling equipment.  As AMP ACTSM equipment is used in the training, this course is a must for companies that own the AMP equipment and need to secure the warranty by having employees trained in the proper procedures.  Participants who complete the training successfully will become AMP NETCONNECT Registered Installers.  The course is also approved for 14 BICSI continuing education credits.
