COMPUTER BASICS
Overview of the Personal Computer
If you have never used an IBM personal computer (can you boot up?), this is the course for you. Major emphasis is on the PC keyboard. The personal computer as a system, software applications, operating system functions and conventions, basic Window's concepts, and the Internet and World Wide Web are discussed. If you are a computer novice, it is highly recommended that you take this course and that you have keyboarding experience before enrolling in any other computer course.
