Project Management Basics
Get introduced to the methods and techniques project managers use to effectively initiate, plan, control, and report on their projects. Managers with limited experience will learn project management concepts, terms, tools, and aspects of the project life cycle as described in the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK® Guide. 1.2 CEUs. $495 (fee based, no waivers)

Prepare for the PMP Exam with the Following Courses:

Entire PMP Series
This seven-week series covers a number of topics in preparation for the Project Management Professional PMP® Exam. You will review all material covered in the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), which includes the 10 knowledge areas: Project Integration, Project Scope, Project Time, Project Cost, Project Quality, Project Human Resource Management, Project Communications, Project Risk Management, Project Procurement, and Project Stakeholders Management Review. There will also be practice test questions and a discussion of what to expect when taking the PMP® Exam. You will learn the project manager’s role in developing the project scope, how to develop a project charter, the project lifecycle, and the importance of the WBS in defining the scope. You will learn about controlling the project schedule, the critical path method, PERT methodology; network diagrams, and Gantt charts. You will also learn about managing the project budget, cost estimating and forecasting, cost applications, and earned value analysis. Discuss the project manager’s role in creating, motivating and managing a successful team. Examine group decision-making and problem-solving models, project risk definitions/ planning, procedures for managing project contracts and procurement, and quality assurance will also be covered. 42 hours. The Course Online-PMP Prep
Offered in cooperation with University Learning Institute, this course prepares you for the Project Management Institute (PMI) certification exam by covering material in the PMI Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and reviewing essential project management concepts and terminology. You will have access to sample exams with hundreds of questions. You can start at any time during the month and work at your own pace. Advanced Microsoft Project 
This course will give students an opportunity to actually apply project management methodology. Use Microsoft Project to create Project Scope and  Project Requirements. Learn to enter the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) into Microsoft Project and create activities from the work packages (lowest level of the WBS). Also, learn  how to do Earned Value Management (EVM) using  Project. Create custom tools and reports and work with multiple projects.
