Entire PMP Series
This seven-week series covers a number of topics in preparation for the Project Management Professional PMP® Exam. You will review all material covered in the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), which includes the 10 knowledge areas: Project Integration, Project Scope, Project Time, Project Cost, Project Quality, Project Human Resource Management, Project Communications, Project Risk Management,
Project Procurement, and Project Stakeholders Management Review. There will also be practice test questions and a discussion of what to expect when taking the PMP® Exam. You will learn the project manager’s role in developing the project scope, how to develop a project charter, the project lifecycle, and the importance of the WBS in defining the scope. You will learn about controlling the project schedule, the critical path method, PERT methodology; network diagrams, and Gantt charts. You will also learn about managing the project budget, cost estimating and forecasting, cost applications, and earned value analysis. Discuss the project manager’s role in creating, motivating and managing a successful team. Examine group decision-making and problem-solving models, project risk definitions/ planning, procedures for managing project contracts and procurement, and quality assurance will also be covered. 42 hours.
