Professional Human Resource Management
Offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This course helps human resource professionals prepare for the HRCI exam. Learn about state-of-the-art human resources issues, functions, responsibilities, and concepts that constitute the body of knowledge in human resource management. Topics include management and general employment practices, staffing, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, health, safety and security. Instructor holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credential. To successfully complete the course, you must attend at least 80% of class meetings and complete all readings and course assignments, including tests, with a grade of 70% or better. 3.5 CEUs.
