Maryland state matching funds are available to subsidize training costs for qualified companies and organizations. Special government incentive grants have been allocated through the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation's "Maryland Business Works" program to fund staff training for small companies of fewer than 50 employees, as well as for the healthcare industry.  Maryland for-profit and nonprofit employers are eligible to participate.  The training projects require a dollar-for-dollar match from the employer.  Call Bev at 410-772-4973 at HCC for more information.
