New Course Proposal

Marketing Information: (1) What is better, different, unique about your course in comparison to similar courses offered elsewhere? (2) What groups, clubs, organizations, associations, institutions, and/or types of businesses would be good targets for marketing your course? Do you have affiliations with any of them?
Course Objectives--After taking this course, a student should be able to [do what? Use action verbs and make sure the objectives are measurable—how will you know if the student has successfully met your objective? Example: “The student will be able to change the oil correctly in an American car.” List 3 to 10 objectives:

If your course is selected for consideration, you will be asked to submit a syllabus when you meet with the Continuing Education programmer.  A syllabus is a week-by-week list of activities that will take place during the course.  It should cover discussions, readings, topics, exercises, or whatever activities your course dictates.  You must submit the syllabus and objectives to students at the first class session.
