To take some of our ABE and ESL classes, you must first come in to the Hickory Ridge Building for placement testing before you can register.

The placement test helps us make sure that you register for the right class for your personal level of ability. The test is not graded and is confidential.  It is used only to help us match you to the appropriate class so that you won't waste your time and money in a class that's too easy or too difficult for you.

Please choose a time listed in the current Schedule of Classes and come to the Hickory Ridge Building.  No appointment is necessary.  All students must come to one of these sessions!  You will be tested, meet with a counselor, and register on the same day.

Please bring along your payment for tuition or fees—cash, check, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

• If you are taking an ESL intermediate or advanced class, you will be paying for tuition and fees.
• If you are taking an ESL pre-beginner or beginner class, you pay only the fees.

Note to returning students:  Please bring with you a copy of the yellow Student Advising Report form.
