Registration Information

HOW TO REGISTER
SUMMER REGISTRANTS PLEASE NOTE: In the summer classes fill quickly, so register early! Please note that all summer students staying on campus for both morning and afternoon courses, and all students who attend only morning or afternoon courses but elect to attend the lunch session, MUST REGISTER for the supervised lunch hour from noon-1pm using the appropriate date section. Safety policies require that your child cannot eat lunch on his or her own.
Option 1: ONLINE via HCC Express
Available daily 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Have your VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card handy. At the top of this page, mouse over the “Registration & Payment" dropdown menu and then on "Online Registration via HCC Express," our online registration system. Select the Noncredit/Continuing Education student category. Important notes: (1) To view kids' courses only and not courses for adults, be sure to select "Kids On Campus" from the drop-down box on the search page; (2) Be sure to submit the consent form, which is REQUIRED for all Kids On Campus registrations; (3) FOR SUMMER CLASSES ONLY: If the class you want is filled (closed) and you want to get on a waitlist, call 443-518-4825 and be prepared to provide your registration information to the operator.
Option 2: FAX
Fax your registration form/consent form, and credit card information for VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover (including account number and expiration date) to 443-518-4333. Credit card information must accompany faxed-in registration (please allow two days for processing). If you register at least seven days before your class begins, you will receive a confirmation in the mail.
Option 3: IN PERSON
Visit the Registration Office in the Student Services Building, Room 233. Hours are 8:45 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:45 a.m.–5 p.m. on Fridays. Bring your registration/consent form, and payment or credit card.
Option 4: MAIL
Print out the registration form/consent form. Include credit card information or enclose a check payable to Howard Community College (please put name, address, home and business phones, and student's Social Security number on the check), and mail to Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044-3197 ATTN: Lockbox Cashier RCF 203. Please note: As mail is the slowest method, you may lose your opportunity to get into those classes that fill quickly, so please mail as early as you can. If we receive your mailed registration at least seven days before the class start date, you will receive a confirmation in the mail.
Tuition must be paid in full at time of registration. Each course tuition includes a built-in $40 registration fee. All Kids on Campus registrations must be accompanied by a signed consent form.
