Whether you're a beginner, an experienced rider who just needs a license, a knowledgeable rider looking to polish your skills, or an enthusiast ready to become an expert, The Rider School at Howard Community College has the class for you.  Our license-earning courses (Basic Rider and Alternate Basic Rider) are approved by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).  All instructors are MVA and MSF certified.  Successful completion results in a waiver of MVA rider testing.

Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic is our enthusiast course. A step beyond our Experienced Rider Course, it was developed as a companion to the book Total Control and is for people who want to become top-level riders, no matter what kind of bike they ride.
