Choose the Basic Rider course if you've never ridden a motorcycle, have limited riding experience, haven't ridden in a long time, or you want the course that provides the most information about safety and road skills. This is a license-earning course. Be sure to read the course description for vital requirements and the Required Safety Gear policy. Most classes are two evenings and two weekend days. Daytime weekday classes are also available--see the class schedule.
Choose the Alternate Basic Rider course if you need a license and are an accomplished rider with recent riding experience. Don't choose this class if you want to learn the maximum about safety and road skills—choose the Basic Rider course. If you have any doubt at all about whether you should take the Basic Rider or Alternate Basic course, take the Basic Rider Course. This is a license-earning course. Be sure to read the course description for vital requirements and the Required Safety Gear policy. Classes are held on a single Saturday.
If you're an Experienced Rider and already have a Class "M" license, you have a couple of options for improving your skills. You'll get to practice under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor who will help you solidify good riding technique and eliminate bad habits. You provide your own motorcycle, which must be licensed and insured and must pass our safety inspection.
Choose The Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic™ if you're an experienced rider who wants to become an expert and if you have at least one year of riding experience. This course is a top-level riding class that can bring your riding skills to a new level no matter what you ride. Be sure to read the course description. Classes are held on a single weekend day.
