Motorcycle Safety

Getting Your License

If you successfully complete all class sessions and pass the tests at the end of your motorcycle safety course, you will receive a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Motorcycle Safety Program course completion certificate, which you can submit to the MVA when applying for your license.  The certificate is not a motorcycle license and will not prevent a ticket.  To get your Class "M" license, you must present your certificate to the MVA, complete an application, pay the licensing fee, and pass MVA's vision test.
