Bus Discount

Howard County Transit

If you have an HCC identification card, you can purchase a specially discounted Howard County Transit bus pass for $5 from the bookstore.  This gives you a big savings from the regular price of $15.75!  Save money, avoid hassles looking for parking, and ride in ease and comfort to our classes!

A college identification card is not required for continuing education students.  However, if you pay $125 or more in noncredit tuition and fees for the current credit semester, you are eligible for a student ID card for that semester.  ID holders will be admitted during the current credit semester to the college pool, tennis courts, and weight room and can receive ticket discounts on Smith Theatre productions and Howard County Transit bus passes.

To get an ID card, bring to the Security Department (across from the Welcome Center) an official college letter or receipt showing your college ID number and that you have paid $125 or more for the current semester.  Security staff will take your picture and issue you a card.  Howard County residents can purchase six-month, one-month, and day Athletic Center passes at the cashier in the Galleria.
